Use Image Log Capture
Image Log Capture workflow profile allows you to obtain the images copied, printed, scanned, and faxed by MFPs managed using SLNX and deliver them as image logs to the specified destination in the workflow.
Delivery of the image logs captured while using scanning or printing functions of SLNX system is available for RICOH devices manufactured in 2015 or later. For some models released before 2015, only delivery of the image logs captured while using the device's native functions is available.
-
The logs of the following images cannot be captured:
-
Scanned images using TWAIN driver
-
PDF Direct print images
-
Inbound and transferred fax images
Image Log Capture requires the optional File Format Converter installed on devices. However, some models do not support this function even with the optional File Format Converter installed. For details about these models, contact your RICOH service representative.
-
If document delivery is suspended, Image Log Capture job is also suspended.
-
Among the settings in [System] [Server Settings] [Delegation Server Settings] [Capture] tab, only the [Number of Retries], [Retry Interval], and [Delivery Schedule] settings apply to capture jobs.
-
Each delegation server can manage up to 100 devices using this function.
-
When Image Log Capture is configured, direct fax transmission and creation of High Compression PDFs are disabled.
-
Image Log Capture is not available for workflows whose job processing location is set to [On Device].
-
When [Send to Me] is enabled in [Send to Email Option Settings], Image Log Capture fails.
-
When [Add 00.end File] is selected in a Capture workflow profile and the workflow includes a PDF Converter connector for which [Assign a User Password] or [Assign a Master Password] is enabled, Image Log Capture fails. In this case, disable [Assign a User Password] or [Assign a Master Password].
-
Only a One-touch Scan workflow with a proxy user can be set as the destination of Image Log Capture.
-
Image Log Capture cannot deliver captured images to a shared folder in the same Delegation Server where Capture workflow profile is configured.
-
When Print function is used, the metadata value of "captureOperator" gets the original GUID instead of the user code, and this metadata cannot be used to identify the user.
-
The processing results of Capture workflow are not included in the Scan History.
-
The processing results of Capture workflow are not included in any reports or the dashboard.
-
If no error is logged in Job Queue, it means Image Log Capture has been executed successfully. If an error is logged in Job Queue, refer to page 402 "Operating the Job Queue".
